doemsie campus

Doemsie Campus is privileged that we are not only part of Huguenot Primary School, but also participate in all the Primary School’s activities. Our primary focus is to be child-driven in the planning of all our activities, rather than task-driven and thus pull a golden thread of Gr RR right through to Gr 1.

our Philosophy

Our mission, as expressed in our motto, aim high, is to provide each learner with the opportunity to realize his/her full potential. Here our children are the most important! Doemsie Campus

is privileged that we do not only form part of Huguenot Primary School, but also participate in all the Primary School’s activities. We focus primarily on being child-driven rather than task-driven. We follow a holistic approach, where each child is supported and developed in totality; academically, physically and spiritually. Emphasis is placed on various areas of development, including motor skills, knowledge, attitudes and values.

We do not only prepare each child for “big school”, but also for all the challenges life can bring. We focus daily on developing communication skills, creativity, problem solving and teamwork. Trained teachers also support different learning styles by following a multi-sensory approach in the classroom during contact time. We meet each child at his or her developmental level and then build on it to ensure that each one reaches their full potential. Every Doemsie is special and unique and we strive to motivate each learner to do their best!
